Cat with wide eyes popping its head out of a cardboard box

Cat's out of the box, er, bag. Westerville Public Library will be joining the Central Library Consortium! This means with your Worthington Libraries library card you'll have access to the collections of all the public libraries in Franklin County.

To make this change and process data from our new partner, we need to restrict and stop some services for a few days.

After the library closes on Thursday, November 14:

  • Title availability in the library catalog will not be accurate. (Want to check if something is on the shelf? Ask us!)
  • You will be unable to access your library account, including reserving new titles.
  • Most mobile app features, including self-checkout and catalog and account access, will not be available.
  • We will be unable to issue new library cards.

You can still visit the library to browse for and check out books. The library website-- along with e-books and databases-- will also remain available during this period.

When the library catalog and account system are restored to full functionality on Monday, November 18, you will be able to seamlessly access the collections of all 18 libraries in the Central Library Consortium.

I am the library's digital library manager. I like to read fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction and retellings, especially extra-long tomes. When it comes to music, give me anything with a groove and some soul.
