The Library will change the way we charge for printing and copying starting Monday, March 17. The increasing cost of paper and toner, as well as the impact on the environment, led to this decision.
Unlimited free printing and copying service will be replaced with a $3.00 per day printing and copying credit for library card holders. The charge for black and white printing and copying is 10¢ per side; for color, 50¢ per side. This service change will not affect patrons who print and/or copy less than $3.00 per day.
Library card holders whose print and/or copy jobs total more than $3.00 in a day will get the first $3.00 free and will pay the amount over $3.00. Those who print and/or copy without a library card will be charged the full cost.
The wireless printing print by email option will also be discontinued, as there is no way to offer the daily print credit to patrons sending wireless print jobs by email.
